male sang in area more or less regularly,
moving over an area occupied by three
territories in previous seasons. New mate
appeared on May 12, collected early May 13
May 13 ♀ ad. Ovary previously active; about 57.0g.
6 ova up to 2 mm., 5-6 small
atretic follicles indicate prematurity;
May 18 ♂ male singing daily since the 13th.
