1969 Phelsuma cornuta (+ others) 6 Aug. Two young ad. sunt gay (all in 72b. moss), definitely paired, on territorial squabbles to NE & up - upshore skin versus downslope. Downslope area unoccupied for a year. 7 Aug. Red-mgs. along Campus Drive. Territorial squabble among gays again. 14 Aug. Sunt gay territorial squabbles continue. 15 Aug 4 adults swimming (and,3 panting) all at one or lawn g yard. All in heavy molt, intermittently feeding on lawn. No interaction among them. Swimming & molting birds seen also previous weekend (6-7 VIII). 1970 Aug 24-28 Continued squabbles among sunt gay. Eriflank skin g / ad - yr trials attempted to settle, along Queens near Bell bays (toil moss). Excited aggression parts to NE, along Farlan, both on toil moss, settled then this year 2 Sept. After cloud day given another squabble. 7 Sept. Another. This time gay along Queens Sq Bell bay started pancakes calling, drenching a second gay downlope. Almost immediately after calling began
