When the original catalog for Nos. 1 thru 2551 inclusive was received, the pages for numbers 2008-2071 inclusive were missing. 2. T.L.'s numbers 2072 through 2551 inclusive (unlike all specimens prior at least No. 2007) were already on paper supplied by Univ.Calif., Mus.Vert.Zool., (or better reasonable facsimiles of same) and were, therefore, inserted into the proof read copy of the original made for the use of, & permanent retention by, M.V.Z.
