225 Feb. 11. I learned that about 2 years ago, when Neate came to Kuching, he started a Science Teachers Association of Sarawak (STAS). Thampi is currently president. I got the names of the examinations followed in Sarawak. They are put out by the Univ. of Cambridge Local Exams. Syndicate. Syllabuses, Science Subjects 1961, General Certificate of Education (ordinary level) and School Certificate Exam (Form 4 & 5).
