I was basically alone here, but it
wasn't long before family camper set
up within yards of me. Well, I
decided to just stay, record the
new birds, and stuff skins here
anyway.
I collected a female hepatic tanager,
on the chance that it looked
like a crossbill when I saw it.
Other birds here: rufous-sided towhee,
hairy woodpecker, zone-tailed hawk,
western wood pewee, western bluebird,
The weather ended good, breezy with
only a few clouds.
