Began trip to SW, US today,
with some people on the traditional
ZOLOGY 107 "Desert Trip", as follows:
David Ribble, Aaron Yurmo, Ian Taiguchi,
Laura Cunningham, Debra Wadford and
"Sutchin" M "Stephanie".
We left
Day area at 6:33 am, drove down
I580 to I5 to 46 to 99 to 58 to
E40 at Barstow. Drove E on I40
to Kelso Dunes exit, then N 10 miles to
the Doner Camp area, and we camped
about 1/4 mi from the Camp on the
other side of the small crest.

We camped at a place named Snaley.
Spring. Vegetation mixed cholla, creosote,
Joshua Trees, and other shrubs & cactus.

Spent the day exploring the area.
Collected a Beeber-throated Sparrow
