Holmes, R. 1959 Limnodromus scolopaceus 3 31 August Barrow, Alaska A small flock of 12 was present along the short / the creek which drain Voth's Slough. Large numbers (5-600) were in the southeast / footprint lake and a flock of 125 was seen in the north end / the lake (in the trip down + on the return trip). This was the largest concentration / Blue Nurd seen in this area to date. They were extremely abundant + many more were hidden. The gram, in the estimate given above is probably conservative.
