Holmes, R. 1960 Lemmus 30 Aug Barrow, Alaska in rows. These areas are riddled with lemming runways, holes, etc, and crannies have been seen rather commonly. Runways are still in use; there are still localized burrows. A generally pattern was noted today near The Sertllyr plots. The diagram below runways holes There are holes with 1 or 2 level- used runways. These may lead to other hole 15 to 30 feet away from where other runways take off.
