Holmes, R. 1960 Lemmus 3 August Barrow = So. Barrow 3, Alaska Individuals were seen regularly during the trip. Juveniles appear to be seen more frequently than adults. Sij was good all the way to So. Barrow 3, as were joeys for owl densities. Runway is still being heavily used in most areas, but there are becoming localized. That is, There will be a path:1 very well used pathway, + burrows in low troughs or polygon-edges & The there may be an edge 1-3 feet away. This may be due to habitat preferences or to the effect of predation? - in removing a certain periculat. The lemming population. Weasels are shown up occasionally now.
