Holmes, R 1959 9 August Barrow, Alaska Three birds were seen a footbound lake and one was collected (≈185). The birds were just changing from their summer to fall plumage with a mixture of dusky grayish plumage. The long legs and white upper tail coverts are diagnostic. The three birds were seen feeding among a group of 13 Pectoral Sandpipers. 21 August Barrow, Alaska I'm seen among a group of 3 Pectoral Sandpipers just no. 1 Voth's Area. They were feeding among a cluster of Arctophila - filled polygonized pools.
