Holmes P. 1960 Olectropterus nivalis 30 July Barrow, Alaska Very few have been seen during the past few days. Occasionally, individuals of young are seen near the dump areas or in camp, but not at the tundra. 15 Aug - None have been noticed since the last two weeks. 25 Aug Several individuals seen near the dump areas. Most / Then now have completed their molt. 3 Sept Several Slakes noted today. On / about 25 birds were along VOT Creek. About 15 were flying back + forth around The Fortpoint Gate. Another group / 8 were near the NW slope / Skravik.
