Holmes 1963 Calcaris laggan 24 July Bemont, Alaska Hatching dates for nests - Census plots - on a census sheets. All birds have been fledged now for two weeks or more. Adults are molting & staying in the forest, fragments of small flocks. 4 Aug. Flocks 15-30, seen near plot - moving across upland tundra. 9 Aug. Large flocks 15-30, often breed ridges - feeding on upland habitat. 18 Aug. Small flocks of adults & juveniles mostly upland.
