13 June Barrow, Alaska
hard to spot once they land on a
patch of tundra.
14 June Barrow, Alaska
Several males were seen going through
their aerial displays, despite the
Sewind. One nest was found
in a crevice formed by the
crooking of the wind. The nest
was made of dried grasses
woven together with a small
cup-shaped nest. about 2" across.
There were a few feathers in the
Nest and 1 egg. The
egg was brown with blackish
mottlings.
15 June Barrow, Alaska
1400. The nest described above was
checked and found to contain 2
eggs. Many of the pairs seem to be
nesting now. The males are still
going through their flight displays, and
The females are remaining rather sent.
we. 2200. The nest was checked again
and contained two eggs still

The above-mentioned nest in the dorm area
now contains 4 eggs.(at 1110).
