Apparent, long, high display as give - This may
have been in response to another bird?
This species - since the area is where he flew
was new when a pair we noted
everest day ago.
As the pair was feeding. The 0 again
Gave a weird nest cup display, consisting
of a standing in a depression - raising angled
Tail & folded wings kept to the turning - 45°
Stopping for 1/2 sec - turn another 45° - etc.
No settling or wagging was noted.
Both birds fed a - finally with show
Say suddenly The 0 settled into (depression),
1st standing then sitting - with tail -
Wing tip in air - motion in several
directions. By this time, The 0 was standing
3-4" away with tail raised, whip may
have been slightly dropped - head forward
but not horizontal with the ground [illegible] - gave
doublet (all that we could hear was one two
sequence 1 doublet - but bird's body was
moving more frequently - & there was have been
more vocalizations). After about 45 sec,
The 0 moved off - running in renewed
Pasture - feeding - running again. The
0 remained in the cup for 2 1/2 minutes -
Feeding This time, she preened prior to [illegible]
