Holmes, P. 1962 Nyctea scandiaca 5 June Barrow, Alaska 1♂ scouting near Voth area. 6 June 1♂ along Valley slope south (the valley.) ; 1♀ on immature 3 miles / Voth area - 1 No. / Footprint Lake. 7 June 1♂ along White ramp Sutter/B. Ridge ; 1 ♀ on P. Kelley's plot - 1♀ at De nova / Cockpile slope ( was have been same bird as a P. Kelley's plot ?). 8 June 9 snows over section, in snow drift along Voth Road - halfway to Voth area. Flew to top Telegraph pole nearby. 10 June 1♀ in Voth Area; 1♂ near Barrow ridge in the evening. A pair noted at the current Barrow ridge. Another single bird seen near The gas-line crossing the ridge - rather lost 1-2 primaries missing from left wing. 14 June 4-207; 2♀♀ on Beart Ridge near gasoline ; 1 male Oolpil slope - 3 near South End / Dry Lake ; 1 No. and 1 Skovil; 1♂ west side / Footprint Lake. No evident Mute Swan. 15 June Eight seen looking S. street from White- Ramp Sector 10 A.M. 20 June Eight owls counted from the Wannujin - mostly along the north-west shore of Heronovel Lake. 21 June 3 over a high polygon - along west side / Footprint Lake.
