Holmes, R. 1960 Nyctea scandiaca 21. 26 July Barns = Skroawik There and bands were applied. Both Ads were present but they did not become to excited or riled. (Thes are at nest #1). At Nest #2, Both Ads were present + 1 chick was seen, but we did not stop to check in The other one. The young at nest #10 were weighed, and the youngest one was brought back into the loft by Reynolds. The nest did not have any learning around it. During the past week, there have been 3 Owls present at the feeder just west 1 salt (famil) logan. At Thorold nest So. I loan Lake, The wings of a & Stella Eider's were found - indicate That she had been preyed upon + fed to The young. A week ago, Mable found The wings / a 3rd King Eider at an Owl nest near the Bose. Now that The young are near grown (some are beginning to fly), The food requirement is extremely high.
