Holmes, R 1959 Xema sabini 17 june Barrow, Alaska Several seen along the Meade River and Colville Delta on ice floe over. 30 june Barrow, Alaska One seen on freshwater lagoon. 5 July Barrow, Alaska Four seen about 2 miles east of Nunivak on the sand bar. They were sitting in a cake line and no activity was noted. 15 July Barrow, Alaska One seen in Ikraa-vik lake on the edge of ice. 3 August Colville Delta - Powe r - Alaska Many seen near Thetis Island & Dowr and several in the vicinity of the fish camp The Colville Delta. 5 August Barrow, Alaska Many hundreds present along Elson Lagoon from the Buck Camp & No 7oss. Both Adults & juveniles were present. Several were being closed by jaegers.
