Holmes, R. 1963 Stercorarius longicaudus 11 June Barrow, Alaska Few flying west along beach ridge - one bird calling. 21 June One being chased by a Pomarine across Census plots. 2 July Three flyin [illegible] over insect plots 8 July Flood / 12 (t-2 parasitic) near Trapslim IIA-B. feeding in grass - probably after adult [illegible]. Another group / 6 - not / insect plots. 9 July Flood 13 near Shuawand plot, - 1 vrdia. [illegible] on plot. 12 July Group / 13 near m. insect plots - nr / 00A, 13 July 2 flew over Shuawand census plot 14 July 1 flood 6, south (south soft layer), 178 ne- insect plots. 17 July Several groups / 6-58 - near Shuawand. One lay group / 17 50t was at N? Mothers 1 Nr (but all were melling) crowded in air at one point but then they scattered & settled ~ M, Tundra - probably feeding on topolites. 18 July 11 - n / flood near insect plots - feeding in grassy areas. 20 July Flood / 10 flew across census plot - Shuawand, Group / 25 - Yumi' north 1 Shuawand Cove 22 July 8-10 along Free Lake
