Holmes, P. 1963 S. pomarine 7 July Barrow, Alaska (jib Cheek, c.o.l.). About 20:15 p.m. -# c 4 was caught in a fox trap - # was marked. After amputation for foot - where was hanged by the finder, shot wrote flew off but remained in an area. Perhaps, my directed the nest to smooth jumps cannibalize it - or maybe my did it themselves. 9 July No other 2 birds were not seen in any summaries. The next nort/ footprints had just hatched - 1 y/o, was out / the cavity - the 2nd - was just out / h eggs - settling in the cup. 12 July Nest #7 (E) (bevelvity) - with 2 small young - 2-3 day old. - both adults in attendance. At nest #2 - an adult was found dead -(shot)- probably happened 1-2 weeks ago - eggs gone - probably predated. At nest #9 - S./1 middle part Nogor, w/1 adult even brooding 2 1-2 day old young in the nest site - no young were hatched. 13 July A pair - overall have light phases - at south west side / Footprint - by calls & behavior, My had eggs or young nearby. - collected. There are 3 pairs new census plot - 1 W of 10.0 - 1 30y/b SE 125.05 / 30'200 SW 125.4.
