Holmes,R 1963 S. pomarinus 2. 28 may Barrow, Huske In evening, 6 pairs seen between Wohl + oolpik Sloops - 2 along Pitkell's Plot + 2 together on ground on north edge / central mand - near Beach ridge - SE. / BBCs. 29 may 3 at 8.00am /BR - 1 chased off by MV too. - same seen at oolpik x elsm. Wohl -> Oolpik - 8 individuals + 1 pair seen. Frequent individuals seen no.1 Wohl - to NE. / Brant Point. In evening - 8 were seen along the No. Beach ridge - we. 1 dark + 1 light lobail Remained close together. Many other (20+) seen between Beach ridge + E/Sm. 30 may At least 30 seen between Britten's Area - Uph + Deoch Ridge. Some cheeping + "naaing" were noted. 31 may Numerous individuals along E/Sn (Assemblage (20-30+)) 2 June # observed by scanning SE -> SCS from Anoti Gate - 16. Many but seen near South Village Slope area - some were defended defending areas, chasing away other individuals. Predominant or frequent at Skrowvik ; South Gy well + oolpik Sloops + cemented area. Estimate: about 8 birds / Square mile?
