Holmes, R. 1960 Stercorarius pomarinus 2 Sept. Barrow, Alaska took off from the ground and followed behind the 1st bird. After a few more seconds, The second bird settled down! The 1st flying bird kept a spring. This was approach to a terminal circling, but a very weak one. 3 Sept. The pr. at T. wamign were fare today, but one bird near The inlet to Akorvik was seen to follow to give the living announcements to a migrant juvenile. Another pair was noted feeding a chick (expert of flight) in Jotprint. These are probably members Archibald's family. In general, there seems to be a lack of juvenal birds if you are closed because birds are seen sitting here.
