26 July Barrow = Skroaik, Alaska
Pairs were noted all along the
way - between Barrow and the
South end I con Lake & Dr
Wanigan. Several chicks were seen.
Numerous dead gregar (shot)
were seen near the grassy area,
the west + foot stones / Skroaik,
& near / Footprint Lake.
28 July Barrow, Alaska
The adults are still quite
common; however; adult encounters
are now seen infrequently. The
young are also rather difficult
to see and our banding operation
has been quite slow. (Note:
partially eaten Lemmy) or
still seen in the tundra - but
now? There are old and dried
up.
30 July - The adults are still present and
