9 June Barrow, Alaska
about 1 min, after which The trimming
was dropped. The P then began to
jump into air with both wings raised.
It appeared to bound or spring up
to a height of 3-4 ft. There were

flight to defend The hunting. All

a slightly hunched position.
Numerous nests are now being found;
These can be seen on the map.
13 June - Many are now present, and most are
meeting. There are no larger flocks
of birds seen in The Lakes; however,
occasionally single birds are seen.
Territories seem to be present in The
Star 1 footprint lake, but nests have
not been found.
23 June Ikraville (Barrow), Alaska
The nesting density here at The Lake
appears to be similar to the
area around Barrow. The
birds can be seen all around the
Waniger, & several nests can
be seen from that location.
These will be plotted after
they have all been found. One
