Holmes,R. 1955 Stereocoraxus pamarinus 8 July Barrow, Alaska Several sea in Uot's Area. Most were feeding, but some were sitting a mounds. Apparently, more are nesting. 10 July Barrow, Alaska Three seen hunting together just N of Uot's Area. They were giving long harsh, gull-like calls as they flew over Pt. Tundra. 14 July Barrow, Alaska Two nests were discovered today S. of Uot's Ave. One was 50 yards W. of a gasline road about a mile S. of Uot's Ave. It was a slight mound and consisted of 3 eggs laying in a cavity lined with a few grasses. The eggs were 2 inches and were olive-green with small black spots. The second nest was about 100 yards SE of the S. end of Footprint Lake, also on a small mound. The number of eggs and nest conditions were similar to the first nest. 16 July Barrow, Alaska Three were seen near the census plot on the beach ridge. Several others
