Holmes,B 1962 Phalaropus fulicarius 22 July Barrow, Alaska Lays flock - 60-80 - seen flying at The Nid about 2 hrs back - probably Even 87? - but may have included mottling 99 (?). 30-40 were also present at The point at The Fordport 1/ Fordport Lola. 24 July Group 6 2-4 73 a in ponds & marshy area No. 1 Voth Area. 25 July Large Flock (90+87?) & a few immature along Else layer - near Brant 87 (400+). 30 July 10? or Fred Lake - near The lake 1 Aug 3 heavy morning flocks (?)- at gravel ponds near Britham's Area. No other seen today, but large Flocks of adult were seen near The point by there. 3 Aug 30-40 juveniles at Fred Lake - as well as a parade Sound / Waterbridge. 5 Aug Many juvenile birds seen on Deprocks in The marshy areas - east & northeast of The level ridge. 200+ at Fred lake 6 Aug 150+ at Fred lake vicinity & many pond near Gaslin Ridge Took 2 to 30 juveniles - individuals were frequently flushed on pond edge - and full sedge grasses. 2 mottling 99 were also present - other old were jin.
