Phalacrocorax fulicarius
13 July Barrow, Alaska
was on the ground and the flog
his wings. This lasted for
only a few seconds, then he wore
fly off and call loudly. The
chickens had very long legs and
feet and even rust colors
about the head
14 July Barrow, Alaska
50-75 present ~ shallow ponds
near the South end of Footprint Lake.
The majority were females

Several birds were seen here
and then at the tundra on
the beach ridge and Woblock
Slough area. Mostly seen were
males which evidently look young,
for they even very excited.
