R. Zweifel 1953 Journal 7 mi. SW El Vegu (Ingueta) 7800', Chihuahua, Mexico June 30 Minimum temperature 44°, maximum 76° F. Showers in the afternoon and early evening. Hunting this morning yielded 4 Stellar Jays, 1 flycatcher (sp?), 1 chipmunk, 1 gray squirrel and a ground squirrel (lateralis type), shot by Bremer and myself. Bill later got a red- backed junco. The high point of today's collecting was a green Cleuthrodactylus found in the rocks behind our camp. July 1 Minimum temperature 45° F, maximum 80° F. Very light showers in afternoon. According to the Mexicans, the stream along which we are camped is the Arroyo Cuero Blanco. The "white cave" is not a true cave, but an area of overhang on a cliff, inhabited by Tocalumara indians.
