Dorsal stripe pale brownish yellow, distinct to the base of the tail. Dorsal body surface dark brown.
Venter pale yellow anteriorly, developing a grayish suffusion posteriorly. Row of scales below lateral line gray. Tongue black except for basal area which is flesh colored.
