Several seen here in the late afternoon (5:30-6:00pm).
Quite wary, running into holes in the fine sand when frightened.
See Cnemidophorus tigris note, this date, for habitat description. Dorsal color gray. Pattern of pale tan spots, 2.5mm in diameter, tend to be arranged in vertical rows. Each spot is partially outlined by a brown border.
