N. Zwerfel 1953 Agalychnis decmicolor 9 mi. N Mazatlan', 100', Sinaloa, Mexico 2519-22 July 14, Crouched on low branches of trees bordering a temporary pond in the Thorn Forest. In the evening, the frogs were found giving their rather chirping call which contrasts with the more protracted croak of Diadena. Most of the frogs were bright green when found (out of harmony with the gray branches on which found), but possess considerably ability to change to brown rapidly. July 15 23 mi N Mazatlan', 100', Sinaloa, Mexico 2536-7 R 2 Frog & contained pale green over 45 mm in diameter. The iris is black with pale gold flecks.
