Dr. Zweifel 1953 Diaglena spatulata 9 mi. N Mazatlan, 500', Sinaloa, Mexico 2506 R-2 July 13 Calling a mid-day from a snag a few inches above the edge of a temporary pool. See journal for description of pool and other fauna breeding there. Frog was sitting in bright sunlight. When captured it was green dorsally, but later changed to a golden brown, shading into green on the sides July 14 I took two more and Bill three by the pond in the evening. All were found in elevated situations, one on a branch on a fallen tree, the others about six feet off the ground in trees, usually on large branches or in a crotch.
