Cleuthrodactylus
6 mi. WSW Las Adjuntas, 8500', Durango, Mexico
2377 RZ
July 7
Found on a rocky hillside after dark. The
hillside is rather open, having been logged, and
slopes about 30°. The rounded, granite rocks
average about 18" in diameter, though there are a
few boulders 6' and more in diameter.
The frog was found roosting on top of a
rounded rock about 3' in diameter.
There had been a heavy shower in the afternoon,
surenight
though it was not raining in the after[illegible] when the
frogs were heard calling.
The form, color (bright green, though individually
variable) and call are the same as the frogs taken at
7 mi SW El Vergel, Chihuahua.
