R. Zweifel 1953 Cleuthrodactylus 6 mi. WSW Las Adjuntas, 8500', Durango, Mexico 2377 RZ July 7 Found on a rocky hillside after dark. The hillside is rather open, having been logged, and slopes about 30°. The rounded, granite rocks average about 18" in diameter, though there are a few boulders 6' and more in diameter. The frog was found roosting on top of a rounded rock about 3' in diameter. There had been a heavy shower in the afternoon, surenight though it was not raining in the after[illegible] when the frogs were heard calling. The form, color (bright green, though individually variable) and call are the same as the frogs taken at 7 mi SW El Vergel, Chihuahua.
