P. Zeifel Feb. 23, 1953. 178 Pinnacles National Monument, San Benito Co., Calif. Two hours hunting by Bill Reimer, Ernie Kehlton, Jerry Cook, Jerry Klotz and myself yielded only one Diadophis and a few Aniidea lugenia. This was in the vicinity of the northernmost pines grounds. One mile outside of the park boundary (3 mi. 5 Pinnacles P.O.) were spent two about one hour and found 13 Aniidea, 1 Ensatorie, many Betroskaeps, 4 Annilla palchra, 1 Eumera gillert and 1 Contra Tenius. At this same spot last evening Dr. Stiltons found Aniidea, Ensatoria and Diadophis. Bill Reimer got an Annilla nearly as we were gathering wood about almost yesterday.
