Baha San Carlos near (n of) Guaymas, Sonora

Ground color brown, matching the bare rocks. & with
indefinite darker brown crossbands. Center of gular
region pale blus, lateral region and edge of gular area
orangy. & spotted dorsally, brilliant turquoise
spots on the mid - dorsal region, yellow-brown
on sides. Most of the dorsal and lateral surface of
the tail are brilliant turquoise. Throat as in female,
but less darker and orange lighter. The side blotch
is the same in both sexes, small and dark - blue
or black.
These lizards were abundant on the neck of land
separating Ensenada de Los Teter and Bahia San
Carlos.
