P. Zweifel 1954 88 Cnemidophorus tigris Balis San Carlos, 10 mi. W Huaymaca, Sonora, Mexico April 27 This morning I worked up a wide canyon to the west of that one in which we are camped. Cnemidophorus tigris was common in the relatively level canyon bottom. No C. barbi was seen here. The young C. tigris have a distinct bluish wash to the tail, but not so bright as I remember having seen in those of the Mojave Desert.
