Diplodhis amabilis
3 1/2 mi. N, 2 mi. S Cinnadee, San Benito Co., Calif.
Under rock 8" by 8" x 4", about 2" below general ground surface, soil temperature 7.2°C at 10:20 AM. Clear day 30° Slope littered with rock derived from nearly perpendicular conglomerate slope. Scrubby live oak and Ceanothus forms about 40% covers here. Stream bed 30' away has Asclepias. Digger pines also present. Ancistro dugalis found in similar situation nearby.

Rear ring - Burntish Red
Dorsal - Dusky Mouse Gray
Ventral color covers two dorsal rows, both of which have a black spot on each scale. Very few spots on ventral scales. Upper lip color border clearly marked.
