About 10:30 AM. Four Centia under rocks in live oak-madrone forest. Two were together beneath a 10"x1"x4" deep basaltic rock in the oak litter, the other under separate 5" diameter rocks about 4" apart. Hillside slopes toward east about 30° Covering of trees about 90% at collecting locality, ranging to 100% nearby. Also at this locality: 5 Euneces skeltonianus, 4 Sceloporus occidentalis, 2 Arcides lugub. 1 Ensatina eschscholtzii and many Batrachoseps 9.3 mi NNW Monticello, Napa Co., Calif. 1:30 PM. Adult dug from a rotten digger pine log on top of a ridge. Blue oak, digger pine, manzanita, canyon oak (Caryoptes) 2:00 PM Coiled on moist earth beneath a 16"x1"x6" deep rock on the bank 3' above the stream 12:30 PM Adult coiled in a crack in a rock at roadside, Valley oak nearby.
