R. Zweifel April 19, 1953 214 Rana boylii Big Creek, Fish Camp, 5100', Mariposa Co., Calif. Slowly moving stream 15' wide, 2' deep where single adult R. taken. Water 8.0° C. Shore at point where frog first seen has 10' wide expanse of rounded 2" cobble leading into pebbles edge of stream. Incense cedar, yellow pine and Douglas-fir are the prominent trees. Bill Bremer caught another at the outlet to his artificial lake here.
