At an elevation of 2200'; 4.1 mi SW Mountown, in a meadow at the meeting of douglas and yellow pine associations, we collected 2 Thamnophis sirtalis and one Hyle regilla. Sceloporus occidentalis and Batrachoseps attenuatus were also present. 5.4 mi E, 4.0 mi N Banger on Yolo Co. [illegible] 10 Rana boylii of rather diverse coloration (see species account) were taken from a older bordered stream bed. Present on the nearby hillside are yellow pine, bay, campcreek and manzanita. [illegible]
