Ventura Co., Calif.
This morning I drove over Santa Susana
Pass and up the road which begin
2.7 mi. E Santa Susana, 1.5mi N
and 2.7 mi E Santa [illegible]
I caught
on Euneces skiltoniana and a
Xerhnothus multicarinatus wellii.
Another skink was seen but escaped.
The alligator lizard ate the skink
which I captured.
The lizards were found beneath
surface litter near a steam bottom
in sagelmb covered hills. Hyla
tegula were calling from the stream.
