Aug 6, 1952 At 11:00 AM, DST, a large adult was seen crawling into a pile of trash where it escaped. Dominant trees here are crimson oak and black oak. Paso Brecher Camp, Cuyamaca Rancho State Park, 4900', San Diego Co., Calif. 1965 A2 Aug 8, 1952 Active at 7:00 PM (DST), after sunset but before darkness. Tried to hide by burrowing into oak leaf litter. Black oak - Jeffrey pine forest.
