"100 yds N of V of C. Greenhouse about ½ mile
East of Stadium. Under 6 foot oak log about
1 ft in diameter, AT edge of pasture 25 feet
from deer pen. Temp about 55° no wind
but overcast. Snake very cold & didn't
uncoil until warmed by handling."
Mid ventral - nearest Orange
Sub-candal - Scarlet
Mid. Dorsal - near Oliveaceous Black
Ventral color covers the first scale row (except
for a black tip on each scale), Touching
the second row anteriorly. There are also
tiny flecks of orange along many other
scales of the second row. Neck ring
narrow, about same color or a little
paler than ventral. Very little diffuse orange
on the upper lips. Ventral spotting heavy.
