R. Zweifel April 21, 1982 Coluber lateralis 117 8.5 mi. NW Woodlake, Fresno Co., Calif. A young individual, probably a yearling, found under a rock. Most of the snake's body was hidden in what probably was a mouse burrow. See note on Cnemidophorus gilberti, April 26, for habitat data.
