P. Zweifel Sceloporus occidentalis 109 Mar 2, 1952 Butte Co., Calif. Several Sceloporus were found today under cover which probably represent this winter quarters. One adult found beneath a deeply sealed board had a B.T. of 4.5° C. This was in a meadow, elev. 2200', at the lower edge of the yellow pine forest. Another adult, BT: 6.5°C, was dug out of a rotten digging pine log.
