R. Zernyfel April 11, 1952 79 Ron Laughlin Laughlin 3 mi NW Cool, El Dorado Co., Calif. 566-571, Joe Norman One adult & and five young. In light phase no throat pattern is discernable, but in dark phase the pattern of vermiform spots is evident. The adult female is pale reddish-tan with no pattern discernable on the back. Even the tibial bars are faint. One of the young is very similar to the adult. Two others are darker brown, with contrasting reddish lateral folds but little dorsal pattern. Another is dark greenish-brown with diffuse spotting visible on the back.
