Rana boylii boylii
Waddell Creek, Santa Cruz Co., Calif.
1756 R. Zweifel
A single small juvenile was found,
along with an adult R. aurora, in an
inch wide trickle of water by the
roadside in the redwood-doug fir
forest.
Bill Biemer spent much time
hunting Triturus along the main stream
and saw no Rana boylii, nor did I
see any there. The weather was cold and
foggy today. Where do the frogs go
in this sort of weather?
