P. Zweifel May 2, 1952 74 Rana boylii boylii 5) young adult ♂. - red dorsally with brown sides. Dorsal pattern indistinct. 6) adult ♀. - Brown. D-L folds slightly lighter. Pattern obscure on back, less so on Tibia. 7) young adult ♂. - D-L folds obscure, not differently pigmented from brown ground color. Dorsalgote large - 5mm - almost covering area between folds. No red in coloration. 8) young ♂. - D-L folds brick red. Sides and area between folds dark greenish gray, quite a contrast. Red of folds tends to extend over edge of eyelid and along carthuse to tip of nose. Tibial bars obvious but no visible pattern on back.
