R. Zweifel 293 Cremidophorus stegus multisculatus Paso Pico Rio Camp, Cuyamaca Rancho State Park, San Diego Co., Calif. Aug 31, 1951 A juvenile (SV mm) found beneath a rock in a grassy area bordering the forest. The tail is gray-blue, darker dorsally. It is nowhere near the brilliance of the blue tail of desert whiptails.
