San Diego Co., Calif.
This morning I collected in Haros Creek Canyon.
At the junction of Harros Creek and its Switwaters River Enemophora tigris was common, and a single Phrynosoma were seen. Belogomus occidentales and L. orcutti were seen in the canyon. A Situlochis and two Thanrogia was collected in the canyons.
There is water in the canyon in a series of decorated potholes, one of them more than three feet deep. Wherever there is surface water not in a pothole, it is choked up with vegetation...
A single Rana (almost certainly aurea) was seen at one of the potholes. Small and transforming Hyla arenicolor were present.
