A Sialopsis, an Emmorix subterannea and two small Oreides longipes were found under oak logs & bark on the ground. The soil temperature inside one Oreides was 14.5°C. Another chink was seen to run into a pile of leaves, where it escaped. Hydra nigilica very abundant round a pond. 7.4 mi. SE Clayton, Contra Costa Co., Calif. Two at far Rana longipes seen live were collected.
